KW Lightning 2011-2012 Midget Gold Team

On Saturday January 21st, KW Lightning Midget girls hosted Guelph prior to the Womens UW – Guelph game and then both teams enjoyed a pizza lunch together.
At the Scarborough tournament January 7 and 8, the Lightning Midget girls lost to Durham City 58-33 and the Advantage Titans 49-44 and then bounced back with wins against Sudury 44-30, the Scarborough Blues 66-17 and the Barrie Royals 39-34.
The KW Lightning Midget Girls started their season with 2 games in Strathroy on Dec 18th. In their first game against the London 86er’s, the girls had a strong game with scoring from all players in a decisive 55-27 win. In their second game, theylost to a stronger Windsor Valliants team. Overall it was a good start to their season.
