Lightning-Warriors November Basketball Clinics
KW Lightning and the University of Waterloo Warriors are pleased to announce that they are hosting another set of basketball clinics lead by Tyler Slipp, head coach of the Waterloo Warriors women’s basketball team! Join us November 6, 13, 20 and 27 at the Physical Activities Complex (PAC) at the University of Waterloo. The times are as follows:
- 8:30 am – 9:30 am for Novice to Bantam (Grade 2 to 7)
- 9:30 am – 10:30 am for Major Bantam to Junior (Grade 8 to 12)

KW Lightning Tournaments for 2012
KW Lightning will host basketball tournaments for every age level this season. Tournaments for Novice to Major Bantam will be on Jan 20-22, for Midget to Juvenile on Mar 23-25, and for Junior on Feb 3-5. All dates are in 2012 and there are often two tournaments available per level. This year, each tournament will follow the 8-team/16-game format. Please check the Tournaments page for the details and registration information.

Michelle Hudyn to Play for Missouri
KW Lightning star Michelle Hudyn, a member of the Junior Elite team, has verbally committed to play for the University of Missouri Tigers (also known as the Mizzou) next year. Missouri is a Division 1 NCAA team and a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Tiger’s team colours are black and gold, so she’ll be keeping her Lightning colours!
Congratulations to Michelle for all of her hard work! The entire KW Lightning organization is thrilled and proud to see one of their own accepted to a Division 1 team like the Tigers!

Every KW Lightning Junior and Juvenile team managed to place in its division at the Ontario Cup championships that we hosted last weekend:
